Karnataka | Youth Attacked for Offering Ride to Muslim Woman

A young man, Umesh, was viciously attacked by a group of youths from a Muslim community while he was dropping off his colleague, Parveen, after work. The incident took place in Chitradurga, where Umesh, a resident of Eerajjanahatti and an employee at Kohinoor garment store, was targeted for simply offering a ride to a Muslim woman.
